The rectangular pendant of box construction, both sides with a kufic inscription surrounding a split palmette inlaid in silver on a niello ground, the side with a simple stippled pattern, attachment loops, small losses to niello

The kufic inscription is the sura al-Ikhlas, cdii (Purity of faith). See also lot 342 for the same inscription.
