Of octagonal form, the gold box painted in enamels, the lid with a central picture of a lady against a window surrounded by a border of floral and turquoise half-moons, the sides painted with floral sprays, the underside with a central medallion containing a face surrounded by sun's rays, surrounded by another border of pink and turquoise half-moons, interior covered with turquoise enamel, mounted with small drop shaped openwork attachment loops, small losses to enamel, generally good condition
