PERSIA, 16TH CENTURY
With rounded sides and everted flat rim on short foot, the white interior painted with a central roundel of Syrian inspired floral sprays above a blue panel with reserved white bird against a bold cloudband motif, the cavetto with meandering flowering vine, the rim with a similar narrower band, the exterior with three loosely drawn scrolling floral motifs, repaired, slight restoration
