The ivory field with spiralling tendrils issuing elegant arabesques containing numerous animal heads overlaying scrolling flowering tendrils around a central mushroom-grey medallion containing palmettes and floral sprays and issuing dense similar motifs with perching birds, the spandrels similar, in a sandy yellow border of arabesque panels issuing spiralling palmette, arabesque and flowering vine between ivory arabesque interlace together with mushroom-grey and rust-red floral meander stripes, plain outer ivory stripe with double hereke and weaver's inscription cartouche, a kilim strip at each end
