The indigo field scattered with a wide variety of flowerheads, hooked lozenges, animals and jewellery-motifs around a column of four concentric stepped golden yellow and ice-blue lozenge medallions containing hooked motifs and flowerheads within panelled frames, the lozenges linking large serrated brick-red panels containing further similar motifs, in an ivory border of polychrome hooked motifs between golden yellow and light blue hooked S-motif and minor barber-pole stripes, a short kilim and braiding at each end, corroded black, small old repairs, slight damage at each end
