The main field depicting the appearance of Yusuf in Zulaikha's chamber, her ladies mutilating themselves on account of his beauty, flanked by twin columns supporting a burgundy arch, the spandrels with animal combat groups flanking a central sun-motif, the broad border divided into panels depicting various incidents in the story of Yusuf between pale dusty pink cloudband and palmette meander and minor linked lozenge stripes, inner minor floral stripe, an inscription cartouche above, slight repairs, upper fringe replaced
