The rectangular canopy with scalloped pelmet covered in pale blue rose-patterned chintz, with ribbon-bound cluster column front posts, and on castors, the bed curtains altered (adapted as window curtains), losses to one front foot, the back feet reduced in height, the cornice later
The mattress: 72 in. x 67 in. (183 cm. x 170 cm.);
The overall measurements of the bed: 110 in. (280 cm.) high; 77½ in. (196.5 cm.) long
