An Italian walnut, marquetry and ivory-inlaid cassapanca
Circa 1860
The rectangular back with an egg-and-dart moulded cornice, above a pair of inlaid panels depicting hunting scenes, centred by a panel carved in high relief, flanked to each side by a recumbent stylised lion with acanthus carved terminal, the lower part with a triple panel hinged lid, above a pair of inlaid hunting panels centred with an escutcheon panel carved in high relief, flanked to each side by a plain panel, with a carved edge on paw feet
