With raised superstructure, the arched top centred by a timepiece above a small cupboard door with six ripple-moulded imitation tortoiseshell-veneered small drawers, above a central recess and a small door to each side, the lower part with three frieze drawers above a pull-out slide, with a folding hinged door and a green baize-lined writing surface and pigeon-holes, with inset rectangular brass-plate engraved P. VAN HOVE/EBENISTERIE D'ART/MALINES, flanked to each side by a drawer with a cupboard door below, centred by a central open recess, on four baluster legs, with shaped capitals centred by a female mask, joined by an 'H'-shaped stretcher
