The circular top inlaid with cut-brass and tortoiseshell as well as mother-of-pearl, pewter and copper, the central roundel inlaid with baskets of flowers within an outer band inlaid with butterflies, on an hexagonal baluster-shaped upright, on three scrolled feet, with a tripod-shaped plinth and foliate-cast mounts concealing castors
