A pair of French ormolu, bronze and griotte marble six-light candelabra
The figures cast from models by Albert Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, Circa 1875
Each as a running classically-draped maiden supporting a basket of fruit on her head, with central foliate-cast stem issuing five scrolled branches, each terminating in a circular drip-pan and fluted nozzle, on a circular naturalistic base inscribed A. CARRIER and on a shaped griotte marble plinth
