Surmounted by a reclining putto playing with a butterfly, above the shaped fluted case, centred by the blue and white enamel dial signed RAINGO FRES/A PARIS, the twin-train movement with countwheel striking on a bell, flanked to each side by an oval medallion cast in high relief with putti playing, on scrolled acanthus-cast feet
