A study for the picture of Christ appearing to Saint Lawrence, Saint Anthony of Padua, Saint Ignazio and Saint Alò in the church of San Mamante in Bologna, P. Bagni, I Gandolfi, Affreschi, Dipinti, Bozzetti, Disegni, Milan, 1992, no. 79. The picture was commissioned before 1766 by Lorenzo Antonio Rusconi to decorate his family chapel.
