Late 18th 19th Century
Each with a shield-shaped padded back, arms and serpentine-fronted seat covered in buttoned green rough silk, the channelled back centred by a ribbon-tied cornsheaf issuing pendant husks, the arms carved with leaves, on channelled downswept supports and terminating in carved lappets, the channelled seat-rail centred by a conforming sheaf, on square tapering reeded legs headed by rectangular patera, on pinched block feet, minor restorations (2)
