The rectangular top with a glazed panel enclosing a watercolour of a country house in a landscape, in a beaded slip, the frieze centred on the front and reverse with a coat-of-arms and on each side with a monogram 'A', on ring-turned spindle legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher, refreshments to the decoration, traces of further gilding

Current research has been unable to establish the identity of what would appear to be a Scottish country house; the arms and the monogram also remain a mystery.
