A FINELY CARVED ARCHAISTIC SPINACH JADE DOUBLE 'HERO' VASE

The cylindrical vases deeply carved with chilong clambering on the sides with sinuously curved bodies, one side with two confronted chilong holding a lingzhi at the centre, the vases joined at the rim with a bat suspending a loop handle from its beak, and at the waisted foot with a crouching beast, the back with confronted chilong holding a shou roundel at the centre above the beast's rear, all on a low relief-carved leiwen ground, the stone of milky-green tone with black and brown mottling, as well as white and russet veining
