The elephant carved with head turned to the left, the trunk, tusks and tail carved in the round, the wrinkled ears, feet and folds of skin deeply carved and well defined, the stone of even pale celadon tone with white and russet inclusions; the feline carved crouching with its four legs tucked underneath the body, the details incised with simple clear lines in very low relief, the stone of a warm celadon tone with white mottling and streaking
