Inlaid overall premiere et contre partie, the circular glazed gilt-dial with enamel cabochons of Roman numerals, above a glazed trophy depicting an allegory of Justice flanked by two classical barbarians, the case decorated overall with Berainesque floral marquetry and C-scrolls, the sides with a stylised sunburst masks, the stepped flat top with flaming urns finials flanked by satyrs, the angles with espagnolette mask and foliate trails terminating in C-scrolls and foliage, on acanthus-cast toupie feet, restorations and minor losses, with later English timepiece movement and with pendulum
