The rectangular moulded variagated grey marble top above two frieze-drawers panelled with a flowerhead-filled guilloche-band above two panelled doors with ribbon banding, enclosing two shelves, and on turned tapering feet with brass caps, stamped to front right of the top 'L.AUBRY' and 'JME' the reverse with a Harrods depository label inscribed 'R.SWEENEY' and with a Waring & Gillow transport label, the marble top with restored crack to the right back hand corner

Louis Aubry, maître in 1774.

A closely related meuble d'appui, also stamped by Aubry was sold from the collection Guinard in Paris, Ader Picard Tajan, 18 December 1971, lot 95.
