A LOUIS XVI BRASS-MOUNTED PLUM-PUDDING MAHOGANY (ACAJOU MOUCHETE) BUREAU A CYLINDRE
With rectangular grey-veined marble top above three frieze drawers, the cylinder front lifting to a sliding black leather-lined writing-surface and a fitted interior comprising pigeon-holes, three short drawers and three simulated drawers, with five short drawers about the kneehole, the right hand side drawers joined in one and enclosing a coffre-fort, with black-leather-lined writing surface slides to the sides, on fluted tapering legs with brass toupie feet, restorations, inscribed under the marble '6' and inscribed to the underside in black ink '64'
