Portrait of George Behrend

In 1926 Louis Behrend commissioned Lamb to paint a family group (now in the collection of Hove Art Gallery) together with enlarged portraits of their two children Juley and George, then a child of four. George later wrote Stanley Spencer at Burghclere, in 1965, as well as several works on the subject of transport, including Gone with Regret - Recollections on the Great Western Railway.
