The armour carved in the round decorated in black, gold and silver "russet iron" ishime and red lacquer with hiramakie and nashiji, the armour box, upon which it is displayed, the Somada style with silver and aogai kirikane and e-nashiji, nashiji interior, fundame rims, with a boxwood ojime in the form of an abumi [stirrup] with an inlaid raden mon and a rare netsuke in the form of a Kawari kabuto with its shikuro in stained ivory, an oni mask maedate, signed Ryuzan
