Finely decorated in gold and iroe takamakie with a bouquet of chrysanthemums and ashi, a five-stringed koto beneath the moon among clouds, dew drops on the bouquet inlaid in silver, nashiji interior, the inside cover with a hatchet over wild chrysanthemums in gold and silver hiramakie, gold lacquer rim, a lozenge silvered metal suiteki and an ink slate, slate chipped, small cracks to slate frame
