The netsuke signed Mitsukoni, Edo Period (19th Century)
The tonkotsu inlaid in aogai and stagantler and carved in high relief with monkeys in a peach tree, climbing it and picking the fruit, the ojime and netsuke carved as monkeys, eyes inlaid in horn, slight old wear
Tonkotsu 3in. (7.5cm.), ojime 1in. (2.5cm.) and netsuke 1½in. (3.1cm.) high
