Signed Sanseisai Yokei and kao
Decorated on both sides with children pretending to be members of a Korean or Chinese embassy to Japan in procession, one side with the leader riding a hobby-horse whilst shaded by a parasol bearing attendant, the other with a child prancing along followed by another beating a single-skinned hand drum and another bearing a banner, all decorated in hiramakie, takamakie, togidashi and tsukegaki of several colours of gold, silver and red on a kinji ground, the heads and hands of the hobby horse rider and the prancing boy inlaid in thick raden, well carved with details in black and red lacquer, nashiji interior, fundame rims
