The frosted gilt chain fusee movement with verge escapement, chased and pierced bridgecock and furniture, large silvered regulation disc, with separate spring barrel for the alarm, repeating hours and quarters on a bell by pulling on the cord at VI, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, inner quarter hour ring, alarm disc to the centre with Arabic numerals in cartouches, later steel hands, in plain inner case pierced for sound and containing a bell, with pierced shagreen covered outer case, movement signed
