A late 19th century German mounted ivory tankard
in the early 17th century style, the domed cover and foot embossed with panels of fruit and architectural landscapes, the cover, part fluted and surmounted by a fruit finial, the ivory body, (with a gilt copper lining) carved in relief with horsemen in medieval dress and hounds hunting stags through a forest, flanked by large scroll handle , with pseudo marks for Augsburg, circa 1890 - 27cm high.
