A Chinese buff pottery model of a saddled horse
standing four square on a rectangular base, its head turned slightly to the left with ears pricked and mouth open, traces of red and black pigments remaining -- 10¾in. (27.2cm.) high, Tang Dynasty, (some restoration, chips and old wear).
