There is a similar fan applique Louis Le Desire of about 1810 in honour of Le Comte de Provence who became king in 1814 as Louis XVIII, exhibited no 125 in Histoire et Mode a Versailles a Travers L'Eventail, Musee Lambinet, Versailles 1997
