A Canton Cabriolet fan, the leaves painted with figures on terraces, their faces of ivory, their clothes of silk, the verso with a similar vignette against a silver ground painted with birds, butterflies and roses, the lower leaf with a deer, a dragon and a tiger in a landscape with houses beyond, the varigated sticks lacquered in red, green, ochre, gold and silver and gilt with figures and animals - 11in.
