painted to simulate oak and pollard veneers, the boarded plate-rack with moulded cornice and three shelves all with hooks, with three frieze drawers and a pair of panelled doors flanking an arched open compartment, on stile feet -- 61in. (155cm.) wide, 82½in. (209cm.) high, 19in. (48cm.) deep

It is very unusual to find the painted decoration on dressers, or indeed furniture generally, simulated pollard veneering.
