Item 1. Edward & Eva Pinto Tunbridge and Scottish Souvenir Woodware, G.Bell & Sons 1970. A similar example is illustrated in plate 46. Pinto states that they were carved by a blind man working in Glasgow, about 1850, and were carved with scenes from the adventures of Tom O'Shanter.
