The case with stepped top with floral marquetry inlay, supported on four line-inlaid columns with milled ormolu capitals, with conforming ornament to the base on bun feet (one damaged), with leafy scroll and flowerhead cast bezel to the silvered and engine-turned Roman dial (chapters rubbed), steel moon hands, twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, with shell and swan-head cast pendulum; with rosewood plinth and under glass dome
