The hood with swan-neck pediment with later brass finials, outset turned and ringed columns, with conforming 3/4 columns flanking the wavy arch short trunk door, the plinth (section detached to side) with chamfered sides and on bracket feet, the white dial painted with a huntsman with his dog to the arch, painted floral spandrels against a gilt ground, subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture to the centre with rubbed signature, pierced brass hands, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement
