The stepped flat top with concave cornice, later blind fret carving above hood door, arched panels to sides, breakarch trunk door flanked by fluted angles, on stepped plinth (cut down), numerous losses to veneers, the gilt-brass dial with engraved and silvered day of the week rolling disc in the arch, each day represented by a different figure, flanked by engraved foliate scrolls and between dolphin spandrels, with urn spandrels to the silvered chapter ring, matted centre with date aperture and silvered plaque signed Rob.t Gymer Norwich, the five pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement, replaced seatboard; composite, dial and movement associated and adapted
