The case with gallery to the top with waisted pediment, surmounted by the figure of a trumpeting angel, with flambeau urn finials to the angles, concave sides with caryatid mounts to the projecting corners, on scroll feet modelled with clambering dragons, the dial with individual white enamel Roman cartouche chapters and engraved outside Arabic minutes, twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell to the top, stamped on the backplate for LAGARDA à Paris and 2722; with an associated black and gilt painted wall bracket
