The anglaise riche case with Corinthian columns, with enamel side panels depicting figures in Renaissance hunting costume, the removeable solid rear door with shuttered winding holes, with Limoges enamel side panels depicting respectively a lady in a bright blue dress with a falcon and a huntsman in mauve tunic and green cap holding a falcon, a gamebird at his feet, the gilt dial with recessed Roman chapter disc with black painted numerals, blued hands, silvered lever platform stamped G.V. to bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to backplate stamped 1288; case re-gilt
