An unusual horizontal needlework hanging embroidered in coloured wools and silks in primarily in long and short stitch, with a group of exotically dressed men sitting beneath ruins, with another group of figures to the other side, within a wooded landscape--74 x 90in. (185 x 225cm.), possibly 18th century, Scandinavian, restorations
