A Royal Worcester green ground griffin-handled vase and cover
of baluster form with gadroon cover and spire finial, the elongated neck flanked by griffin handles enriched in pale-green and gilt, painted by William Hawkins with fruit and flower within a rocaille trellis cartouche reserved on the dark-green ground, signed, the reverse gilt with scrolling foliage, on moulded socle foot, shape 2050, impressed numerals, registry and green printed mark, date code for 1899 (small chip and crack to handle) -- 42cm. high
