both modelled by James Hadley and painted in 'shot enamels', the saytr wearing an animal pelt and holding a thyrsus behind his back; the bacchante in classical drape playing a tambourine, on a circular tree-stump base, model No. 1440 and 1441 respectively, impressed numbers and iron-red printed mark to one, date code for 1890 (damages and restoration to satyr) -- 26cm. high
