A Davenport green ground topographical part dessert service
finely painted with views of abbey, lochs, country houses and mountainous landscapes within a gilt surround, the well gilt with foliate scroll-work within a green border gilt the fruiting grape-vine and further scrolls entwined around an iron-red band, each titled to the reverse, comprising: a cake stand, two high comports, a low comport, three footed serving plates and twelve plates, pattern No. 1755, printed puce marks, circa 1880 (damages to cake stand)
