the slender oviform bodies with domed covers, painted en grisaille with a sepia tint with figures of couples in landscapes, one signed, within raised gilt leaf cartouches below scroll, diaper and husk ornament, the reverse with riverside panels, the covers with similar panels, on a turquoise ground gilt with a oeil-de-perdrix pattern, the covers with cast dentil rims, the feet with mounts cast with laurels above square footed bases with canted corners, imitation Sèvres marks, late 19th century (drilled, some wear to gilt) -- 26cm. high
