A similar sketch, no. 18 illustrated, and 'Orpheus. Unfinished', no.29 illustrated, painted in 1898-9, were exhibited at Burlington Fine Arts Club, Exhibition of Pictures and Sketches by Charles Wellington Furse A.R.A, 1906, lent by Mrs. Charles Furse.
