the saddled galloping horse with its head turned to the left with mouth open and ears pricked, the female rider leaning forward and twisting at the waist, wearing a tunic and with her hair pulled up in a top knot, traces of red, green, white and black pigments remaining -- 16¼in. (41.2cm.) long, Tang Dynasty, (some restoration and old wear.)
