A small late 17th century German beaker
of tapering oval form, embossed with swirling foliage below a plain rim with incised borders, makers mark badly struck, possibly by Balthasar Ehem, Augsburg, circa 1690, initialled, "I.A.D" underneath, traces of gilding - 5cm high, 1.5oz.
