A Shibayama style wood and gold lacquer rectangular table cabinet
inlaid in various shells and stones including mother-of-pearl, wood, horn, coral with cranes and birds among flowers, a fish in a basin among shells and flowers, between panels of further birds among cherry blossom, a basket of flowers, and various vessels, within borders of formal flowers, the sides decorated in hiramakie with chrysanthemums and foliage, the back in hiramakie and togidashi with quails among bamboo and flowers beside a meandering stream, on a fitted rectangular stand -- 14¾.in (37.5cm) high, (one pice of inlay missing, one side panel of stand missing).
