with Buddhistic lion finial and lion mask handles, decorated with quatrefoil panels of birds among pine, peonies and blossoming prunus, the cover with scrolling chrysanthemum sprays -- 5¼in. (13.5cms) high, 18th century, (some gilt rubbing).
