After Eishosai Choki (fl. late 1780's-early 1800's), a woodblock print entitled 'Sunrise on New Year's Day'
depicting a bijin standing on a terrace among foliage beside a well, turning to her right, viewing the sunrise -- 14¼in. x 9¾in. (36cms x 24.7cms), (light foxing, wear, stuck down), framed and glazed. See Colour Plate 22.
There is another example of this print from the same block in the collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, attributed to Choki.
