A wucai baluster jar and domed cover with knop finial
painted with shaped panels of lotus flowers and butterflies amongst peonies and magnolia, all on a dense scale ground, the shoulder with a band of trailing flowers and leaves, the cover with further floral cartouches amongst dense chrysantehmums and leaves -- 14¼in. (36.2cm.) high, (restoration to neck and some enamel rubbing).
