A famille rose armorial octagonal plate
painted and gilt with a central crest bearing the motto 'Probitate Consilium Perficitur', with an oak tree below wings and a dexter hand suspending a pair of scales within spearhead and floral cluster borders -- 8½in. (21.5cms) wide, Qianlong, (small areas of restoration to rim); and a pair of Chinese Imari octagonal plates decorated with scattered lotus and peony sprays -- 8¾in. (22.2cms) wide, 18th century.
